Zhoushan ship companies appeared at the Norwegian International Maritime Exhibition

The 29th Norway International Maritime Exhibition recently opened at the Oslo Convention and Exhibition Center. Several participating shipping companies in our city have showcased their full industry chain products and latest technological achievements in ship equipment design, manufacturing, and supporting technical services through promotional videos and on-site introductions, attracting attention from all parties.
The Norwegian Maritime Exhibition is one of the largest and most influential professional maritime exhibitions in the world's shipbuilding industry, held every two years. This year, nearly 1000 global shipbuilding companies, classification societies, and supporting manufacturers have participated in the exhibition.
In recent years, our city has adhered to the green development orientation, guided shipbuilding and repair enterprises to continuously optimize their product structure, innovate shipbuilding processes, and accelerate transformation and upgrading. At present, the annual repair volume of ships in Putuo District of our city alone has reached a quarter of the national total. Our city's shipping companies COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry, Xinya Shipbuilding, Longshan Shipyard, and Pacific Ocean Engineering have simultaneously entered the top ten global ship repair enterprises. COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and Wanbang Heavy Industry have become the only two green ship repair demonstration enterprises in China.
In the first four months of this year, the added value of our city's shipbuilding industry increased by 37.9% year-on-year, with relevant indicators leading the province. Zhoushan Changshi Group and Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry ranked among the top ten new orders in the country in the first quarter of 2023
