Zhoushan's container terminal sees significant car export growth

On October 6th, at berth 1 of Dapukou Container Terminal in Jintang Port Area, Zhoushan Port, Ningbo, containers loaded with 204 domestically produced Geely cars were being lifted onto the "Ouxi Chenyun 1" container liner. In 16 hours, the "Ruiyang Fukai" container liner will also dock here, loading 249 domestically produced Geely cars for shipment to Russia.

With the continuous improvement of the international influence and recognition of independent automobile brands, more and more domestic automobile exporters choose the "roll over integration" marine export. Zhoushan Dapukou Container Terminal, which has 42 "the Belt and Road" routes, is becoming a "hot" channel for domestic automobiles to "drive" overseas.

Thanks to the thoughtful guidance and efficient supervision of the customs, the domestically produced cars we declared were able to be loaded onto the ship in a timely manner, which also gave us confidence in the smooth shipment of over 2000 domestically produced cars in the future

In order to further facilitate the export channels of domestic automobiles and ensure the acceleration of automobile "going global", Zhoushan Customs provides advanced services, understands market dynamics and export plans, formulates ship and cargo clearance supervision plans, provides appointment clearance and inspection services, guides enterprises to apply facilitation measures such as "advance declaration", and coordinates with the port to open up fast entry channels to ensure the smooth loading and transportation of automobiles after they arrive at the port.
From January to August, Zhoushan Customs supervised the export of 508 batches of automobiles with a value of 2.292 billion yuan at Ningbo Zhoushan Port Yongzhou Container Terminal, an increase of 154% and 55% year-on-year, respectively.
