In order to facilitate the high-quality development of Chinese and foreign personnel exchange services and a high level of opening-up, China has decided to expand the scope of unilateral visa-free countries on a trial basis, extending the unilateral visa-free policy to holders of ordinary passports from six countries, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.
During the period from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024, holders of ordinary passports from the above countries may enter China for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends or transit for no more than 15 days without a visa.
